NEW.THE HOBBIT THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG REPLICA 1/1 DAGGERS OF TAURIEL 48 CM.
Slender and keen edged were the knives of Tauriel™ of the Woodland Realm, fitting arms for a lady warrior of equal keenness and skill.
Tauriel’s golden-hued blades were wrought in the cavern smithies of her people, the Sindar, deep beneath the once beautiful Greenwood, now a sick and evil place, called Mirkwood by most.
Few would dare tread its paths unarmed.
Tauriel’s blades remain ever at the ready when she leads sorties into the forest to drive back the fell spiders and worse creatures that now haunt the dying wood.
Tauriel´s daggers were created for the film by the artists at Weta Workshop.
Incredibly tough, yet safer than a sharpened steel blade, they have been finished to a standard that can confidently be displayed in 3D, high resolution, at 48 frames per second in the finished movie.
This prop replica has been created from molds of the original weapons used in the film, using the same high impact urethane material as the props on set and finished using the same techniques and materials.

To get the colors and paint details, we studied an actual screen-used badge.
And once we had the design of the original matched, we took the whole thing a step further – rendering the replica in gold and silver-finished metal (the on-screen props were made of painted resin).
What sets this wearable badge apart from the original is the clasp, which uses strong, short-field magnets that are embedded in the badge itself and in a glossy backplate.
No more pinholes in delicate fabric.
It can even be worn on leather and suede.

The famous Chinese fighter is set launching her Tenshôkyaku, frozen during the motion in the air.
As always with Tsume’s products, we worked a lot on dynamism of the settings, motion and energy of the whole.
The very detailed sculpture emphasizes the outstanding body of Chun-li in her classical outfit, the one that did not change since Street Fighter II.
Chun-li’s outfit might be one of the most iconical of the history of videogame.
It was vital not to mess up the coloring of it by doing too much.
Finding the right tone and working on metallic textures (for the bracelets or gilding on the costume) shows very subtle nuances for the one who looks carefully.
Chun-li HQF by Tsume is the first of this range to get free from our classical black base launched with Natsu.
We put some background elements, here a stone-paved floor and the dust cloud created by Chun li’s attack. Of course our beveled black band as always on Tsume’s products.
